This auction is for a really neat K98k "42"Code 1940 restored Russian Capture, which I believe was restored by the importer. They scrubbed the electro pencilled numbers off the renumbered the parts to match then refinished the rifle. All the parts seem to be correct for a 1940 rifle such as the bands and the flat buttplate. The blue is 99% and the stock is beautiful, the bore is excellent which is rare for an early war rifle. So while this K98k is not for the serious collector it is never the less a nice restoration that would be perfect for reanacting or just as a shooter. Payment to be made in certified funds (cashiers check/money order) plus $20 for insured shipping to lower 48. A signed FFL or C&R is required and no foreign sales.
