This is an original Martini Henry long lever single shot rifle in caliber 577/450. This is not one of the recent imports that was stored in filth for 100 years +. This piece came from a collection in Virginia. The blue has turned a rich brown and the wood is in very good condition with numerous cartouches attesting to its service in Queen Victoria's empire. Bore is nice and clean and smooth with the wide lands typical of Henry rifling. Breech lock up is still tight. Complete with the original cleaning rod and heavy leather sling. This is an antique and can be shipped to most States, proof of age and signed statement of eligibility required. Buyer pays $25 shipping to the 48 States, US sales only.
