Description

Seller's Description:

A very nice VZ-24, with an arsenel reblue, strong rifling with no pitting and appears to have been counterbored at the muzzle.

This one is just as I received it, in a bulk order of these rifles when they first showed up in this country, circa 1997. Small importers mark of "CAI ST AlB, VT" and "VZ 24 8mm CZECH" are on the right side of the barrel, just below the front sight.

The bolt is not numbered to the rifle and is blued. The headspace is good (yup, I *did* check it!). The 4 digit serial number on this rifle has an "DR" prefix. The action is smooth.

The stock is numbered to the action. The toe of the stock is broken loose (see the crack visible in the picture), but could be easily repaired, as there is no missing wood. There are 4 sling swivels on this stock, two on the front band, one at the toe, and one on the left wrist. The stock is a uniform dark color.

Whatever crest was on this receiver has been scrubbed, but the "CESKOSLOVENSKA ZBROJOVKA BRNO, A. S. VZ. 24." is still very clear on the left rail.

I haven't sold a lot on Auction Arms, but you can go look at my eBay feedback - I have the same username of "hayshaus" on www.ebay.com, with 100% positive feedback, and six years of buying and selling.

This firearm must ship to an FFL or C&R FFL if shipped outside of Oregon. Face- to-Face transactions are OK for Oregon residents, but I reserve the right to cancel a transaction if I don't like your looks or you cannot produce valid ID. Buyer pays actual shipping and packing costs. I accept Paypal, but the buyer pays the fees.

I believe in the free market, so we'll start this fine rifle at one penny, and let you fine folks decide what it is worth. Someone may be getting a bargain!

Please ask any questions before bidding.
