A very nice example of a Rock Island Arsenal (RIA) produced 1903 rifle. Rifle is in very good to excellent condition, excellent RIA marked barrel and bore. Approximately 95% original parkerized finish. Stock is fingergroove style and is RIA made. Stock is marked RI on nose tip of stock and has rebuild cartouche of D.A.L. (not in a box) and a sub-inspection cartouche of C.S.N. (?). Stock has been cleaned and possibly very lightly sanded, with very, very minor handling marks. Serial number range is 300,XXX which is considered well within the safe to shoot range. Also comes with checkered milled butt plate, front sight cover, dished elevation knob and grooved trigger. Most parts appear to be correct RIA type except bolt which has a replacment bolt in it. Comes with WW1 leather sling. United States shipments to FFL or to your own C&R license.
