Original all matching vet bring-back WWII German k98 8mm Mauser rifle. This k98 is maker coded 147, which was the J.P. Sauer & Sohn Gewehrfabrik, Suhl. Manufactured in 1938, serial number 3160 r . All matching, even the trigger guard screws. Bolt and all metal numbered correctly to receiver, laminated stock correctly numbered to receiver on heel of buttstock, handguard also correctly numbered in channel. Good, clear German Army Heer proofs and waffenampts on stock. Stock and handguard has original finish, never sanded, no cracks. Metal is above average, about 70% blue throughout. No import marks. Stock has very interesting original repair at heel of buttstock, guaranteed vintage and German arsenal done. Wooden dowel pinned and dovetailed, which is correct German WWII.
