Lower Bolt Rails for AK-47 and AK-74 type rifles. These quality US made rails are for use in your 80% receiver blank. With imported rails unavailable, we had these made using Bulgarian AK-74 rail specs- except better! These are heavy duty!

Why use AK-74 specs? Because it was much improved over the older AKM-47 type- the left rail is extended farther to the rear to provide more support.

Made from 4130 alloy steel, which means that unlike some other rails available, the metal has enough carbon for you to easily harden the ejector tip with a gas torch. If the ejector is not hardened it will deform, so buy quality!

Right Rail is thick- .063 thickness- factory rails are .035-.040 and typically bend. By being thicker it helps align the hammer correctly, and is easier to tap or spot weld into place.

The Right Rail has no full auto cutout- factory rails always bend there, and it is the weakest part of the rail.

The Left Rail has enough material on the ejector to be used for 7.62, 5.45, and 5.56 AK rifles. Made from .063 thickness.

The Left and Right Rails both have magazine support legs on the bottom of the rail. These have enough material to allow you to setup your AK for 7.62, 5.45, or even single stack mags. Because of this support leg, no dimples are needed in your receiver. These keep your magazine from wobbling around.

Both the left and right rail are 3.88" long.
