Build your own AK-47 type rifle with this 80%Receiver. Can be made into most any AK variant- AK-74, AK-47, RPK, AMD-65, Krinkov, Tantal, etc... Caliber can be 7.62, 5.45, or .223!

Can also be used for a dummy receiver for your display AK.

It is legal to manufacture a firearm for your own use, and there is no requirement to register the weapon with ATF. Information is included with the kit on complying with federal import parts restrictions and assault weapon laws.

Check your state and local laws if the location where you live has more restrictive assault weapon laws before you finish assembling your AK.

Receiver blank is made from 4130 hardened (normalized) alloy steel. You can finish this receiver using only a dremel tool, a drill press, a set of files, and a mapp gas torch (optional-for hardenening trigger/hammer pin holes). Full instructions are included to assist you.

These blanks are full .050" thickness. Mil spec is only .040"! None of the thin blanks that other people have been selling. Also keep in mind that normalized 4130 alloy steel is much stronger than annealed 4130. If the seller doesn't say it is normalized, then expect it to be annealed! Also make sure that the blank you are getting is able to be further hardened- and mild steel is not hardenable.

No Welding or bending required!! Much easier to build with than any weld up receiver or a flat receiver stamping.

The receiver blank comes with a bonded template showing cutouts and holes and full instructions on building the receiver and AK type rifle.

Template for AMD-65 rear folder trunnion rivet holes.
