Thread Title: "AuctionArms positon on GPAL issues"

GPAL (formerly GunPal) has been promoted on our site as a preferred payment method because they are about the only competitor to PayPal that will process payments for firearms.  We promoted this service after years of customer requests for an online gun friendly payment alternative.

This payment method appears to be very successful in establishing quick payment processing from buyer’s funding sources to the seller’s GPAL account credit. However, many of our joint customers have experienced delays in getting funds transferred from their GPAL account to their accounts at other financial institutions. Exacerbating the problem is GPAL’s apparent weakness in effectively communicating with their customers regarding customer support issues and providing adequate and timely resolution of their problems.  Accordingly, AuctionArms is first concerned for our mutual customers experiencing these and of course the deterioration effect to our reputation and the goodwill of our customers who have been frustrated with these problems.  AuctionArms is currently reviewing it’s arrangement with GPAL and conferring closely with them on behalf of these mutual customers regarding their plan of action to resolve the problems in this part of their service.

 

How GPAL responds and resolves these problems will determine whether we will continue to promote GPAL’s services.

 

To help us help our customers resolve specific issues, and to objectively monitor progress, we request ONLY those customers with ACTUAL problems and SPECIFIC COMPLAINTS regarding GPAL please do the following:

 

1)    contact GPAL support by email at  support@gpal.net to obtain a GPAL Support Ticket number.
2)    If, after a week GPAL support has not responded with a solution,
3)    Call CPAL support phone line at 1-800-813-4725, be sure to have your GPAL Support Ticket number and request a status.
4)    After 3 days, if not resolution or status from your call to support at GPAL
5)    Start a NEW THREAD in our HELP forum.  Be sure to include the GPAL support ticket number in the heading
6)    Post status and updates to the thread 
7)    Be sure to finalize the thread with the final outcome.

 

Please DO NOT start any GPAL related problem threads in any other Forum other than the Help forum. 

 

Do not start any complaint threads or GPAL discussion threads without a Trouble ticket number. 

 

Limit your posts to those which add something useful to the resolution of the specific problem in the title thread.  Speculative, opinion and “Pile on” posts will be removed as unhelpful to resolution of the poster’s problems.

For those members not familiar with the Forum and the effort to get Gpal posts herded into the HELP Forum.

i had a MAJOR problem with gunpal.... i have now today totally cancelled anything to do with them...since they would not release ANY funds from my account i had to BUY stuff i didnt even need from people who still accepted them as payment...I EMAILED THEM NUMEROUS times with numerous support tickets... total joke as RESPOSES WERE issued about 1 email PER WEEK...NEVER ADRESSING ANY ISSUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! call them...forget it!!!!! no answer leave a message...LEFT 10 MESSAGES with my phone number over 2 weeks!!!! no call back!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think auction arms needs to rethink their affiliation...i have found them to have no honor and no customer service AT ALL>>>>> good by gunpal...i will NEVER use you again........i refuse to get burned twice....

I know, this post will be Removed!, but, when I started Posting the Problem's I was having with then Gun'Pal, Now G-Pal, way back in the First Week of May, which after Six-Week's of Subterfuge from them!, by e-mail, phone (including Ben's Cell Phone) and here!, I walked away from G-Pal!, by Removing them from my 1,730 plus Posting's on "GB" along all of my Invoice's since.
  
Some how on June the 12th, 2010, I found my Posting Privilege Suspended here! (Interesting?), so, now, I can Say!, I TOLD YOU SO!.

Mets, I requested some background on your complaint from GPAL...here's what we learned, I'm just saying there seems there are two sides to this particular story:
  • He was abusive over our support system so we closed his account, as is our right under the user agreement
  • He is telling people he chose to close his own account, which is BS
  • He was only ever owed around $70
  • We did whatever we could to make him happy but it was never good enough
  • A rep talked to him over an hour on the phone to try see what could be done to make things right and followed through on them
  • He still continues to make trouble for us
  • He's "broadcast only" and anything you say to him will not get through
  • Responding to him is futile he will only continue his tirades
  • 

Please cease posting regarding GPAL Matters.)

There is a difference between speaking of a problem and starting a vendetta, WillieTA. 

This is not a Governmental institution, 1st Amendment rights are not applicable to a privately owned company. 

Thought you knew your Constitution better than that.
